On 1-2 December 2022, Ulrike Grote and Sina Bierkamp participated in the 6th Mahidol Migration Center (MMC) Conference which took place in Bangkok (Thailand). Under the title "From New Normal to the Next Normal: Migration Research and Policy in the Changing World", the conference dealt with the results of current migration research. In particular, the conference addressed challenges related to Covid-19 and climate change. Ulrike Grote introduced the TVSEP long-term project and Sina Bierkamp presented her paper "Environmental income and remittances. Evidence from rural central highlands of Vietnam“ based on TVSEP data.
