Tropentag 2023 conference in Berlin on “Competing pathways for equitable food systems transformation: trade-offs and synergies“
The IUW team (from left: Eva Seewald, Ulrike Grote, Nelson Ochieng, Luzia Deißler, Brigitte Ruesink, Robyn Blake-Rath, and Oliver Schulte (not present)) participated in the international Tropentag conference held in Berlin from September 20th to 22nd, 2023. The leading theme of the conference was "Competing pathways for equitable food systems transformation: trade-offs and synergies".
At this conference, the following three papers related to the TVSEP long-term project were presented by the IUW team:
- “Behavioural traits and resilience to droughts among farming households in Thailand”
- “Building resilience or missing specification? Crop and labour diversification in Southeast Asia”
- “The interdependence of different measurements of natural resources dependence and poverty: Comparative evidence from Vietnam”
