Chiang Mai: On 11 September 2024, the Faculty of Economics at the Chiang Mai University held the International Conference on Asian Economic Development (AED2024) under the heading “Sustainability of Asian Economy under Global Conflict“. Prof. Dr. Ulrike Grote and Dr. Manh Hung Do were invited speakers at this conference. While Ulrike Grote spoke on victimization in rural Southeast Asia, Manh Hung Do talked about crop commercialization, structural change and income inequality. The two talks were based on TVSEP data.
