Ms Marina Bergmeier (TVSEP project administration), Mr. Niels Wendt (Data management specialist) and Prof. Dr. Hermann Waibel arrived in Thailand on 6 March 2021. The mandatory quarantine period of 2 weeks in Bangkok was used as a "home office" work time.
On 21st March, the TVSEP team travelled to Ubon Ratchathani, the location of TVSEP's office in Thailand. Here, the activities included the clarification of accounting issues arsing from the special Covid-19 survey, which was completed in December 2020. Furthermore, preparations for the complementary Covid-19 migrant survey were undertaken. From March 29 - April 2, the training of interviewers will take place. The survey by means of phone interviews will start immediately after the training.
